Advocate Sohail Haque is a highly experienced legal professional with over 17 years of expertise in diverse domains of litigation and legal consultancy. Holding a Master’s degree in International Business and Commercial Law from London and NCA (Canada), he presently practices as an Advocate Counsel at the High Court, Calcutta, and appears in various other courts across India. His practice encompasses a wide range of areas, including SEBI and stock market-related cases, arbitration, company matters before NCLT and NCLAT, intellectual property matters such as trademark, copyright, patent, and design disputes, customs and central excise matters, taxation, international law, merchant banking, mergers and acquisitions, and immigration matters for Canada and the UK.

Throughout his career, Advocate Sohail has gained extensive international exposure, having worked as a legal consultant for firms in London and as a compliance and customer services advisor at GLL London. Before pursuing his LL.M. and working abroad, he trained under Mr. Ahin Choudhury, a barrister and senior advocate, and served as a legal advisor for an infrastructure company in Kolkata as well as a legal and compliance advisor for a USA-based company.
