Dr. Sudhir Ravindran, Attorney-at-Law and Solicitor (England & Wales), is the founder of Altacit Global, a leading Indian legal firm recognized for its pioneering work in international and intellectual property law. Over two decades of practice, Dr. Sudhir has built an outstanding reputation for advising leading Indian and international corporate clients on complex legal and strategic issues. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and a Master’s in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick, his unique combination of technical and legal expertise positions him as a trusted advisor in today’s knowledge-driven economy. A law graduate from the University of Bangalore with a Master of Laws from the School of Law, University of Warwick, Dr. Sudhir Ravindran has undergone specialized training in intellectual property from globally reputed institutions such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva, NALSAR University, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Ahmedabad. He has also completed the Intellectual Property Specialization Program jointly offered by the University of South Africa (UNISA) and WIPO. His expertise was further recognized through a prestigious fellowship for the JPO/IPR Training Course for Patent Experts, conducted by the Japan Patent Office and Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation. Beyond his practice, Dr. Sudhir is a regular speaker and guest lecturer at universities, national and international conferences, contributing significantly to the development of IP jurisprudence and policy discourse in India and abroad. His scholarship culminated in a Doctorate (PhD) in Intellectual Property Risk Management from NALSAR University, Hyderabad, and he is currently pursuing his post-doctoral research (LLD) from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, cementing his position as a thought leader in the field.
